Equipment

  • 1 Skillet or Frying Pan
  • 1 Pan Cover
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken Breast
  • 1 Sandwich Bun
  • 100 grams Lettuce
  • 1/4 Medium Onion
  • 1 or 2 Slices Tomato
  • 1/2 tbsp Mayo
  • 2 tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Place chicken in a small bag with about a cup of water and a tbsp of salt to brine (this can be done while chicken is thawing if frozen, brine for about 1 to 2 hours)
  • Heat a medium skillet or frying pan to medium high heat and pour about a tablespoon of olive oil into pan
  • Remove thawed chicken from brine and pound to an even thickness and add a small amount of salt to both sides of the breast
  • Place chicken in pan and fry until golden brown on one side and the flip and cover pan, turn heat to just above low and cook for 10 minutes
  • While the chicken is cooking chop the onion, lettuce and tomato and toast the bun until golden brown.
  • Once the chicken breast is finished cooking move to a plate and pour hot sauce over the chicken breast
  • Assemble the sandwich; Apply mayo to the bun then top with the prepared toppings and add chicken ( for large chicken breast you can cut in two and use to make 2 sandwiches if preferred!) And enjoy!
