Now Lets Get Cooking!
Fill a large sauce pan with stock and heat but don’t boil

Add Grits
Add grits and gradually whisk to prevent lumps. Allow about 20 minutes of simmering for the grits to fully cook. Grits will be done when texture becomes smooth.

Add butter, cheese and seasonings

Place Shrimp in bowl and Season
Make sure shrimp is peeled, deveined and tails removed. Then place in bowl with small amount of oil and garlic powder paprika cayenne and salt and pepper

Saute Mushrooms and Onions and then add seasoned shrimp
In a pan add a small amount of oil and start sauteing mushrooms, once cooked add green onions until they start to wilt, then add shrimp and cook for about 3-5 minutes careful not to overcook shrimp.

Assemble
To plate pour grits on to serving plate and top with the shrimp mushroom and onion mixture.
